Seriously, we pass by this place everyday but it was only last night that I had a chance to drop by and took some photos. I would suppose it's not too late for a post yet, I still have a day before the new year, lol.

It's my third year to have taken a photo of this place. This is grander than last year, I would assume it'll be prettier next year. I heard this private entity has spent millions to set-up this place - how generous! I hope they'll be blessed more come 2012 so they can have more lights next year - people, especially the kids really have enjoyed, stuffed our eyes much of this brightness ... glorious!

If you haven't paid a visit yet, Mana Davao is in JP Laurel Ave., Davao City, they're lighting up these trees until Jan. 5, 2012. So bring the whole gang and enjoy!

HI everyone! I just came home from Lamdag Parada 2011, I’m inspired to share some of photos straight away so here …

Lamdag Parade (Light Parade) is just one of many Christmas activities incorporated in the Pasko Fiesta sa Davao celebration, this is our city’s version of the famed Disney Electric Light Parade, this is still on its second year but it’s gaining popularity, I hope there’ll be more entries next year, children love it, my kid’s waited.

So here, sharing what I got tonight;

Some guys in lit bicycles joining the parade.

My daughter said, 'where is Cinderella Mama the carriage is leaving', 'maybe still doing the girl-thing', lol.

ABS-CBN's OB van was all lit-up, it's like a mobile-bar ... love it!

Pegasus about to fly, the fluffy whites there are cottons, I wonder how many sacks of cotton they've stuffed in here.. the blue light there made it glorious ...

The back part tells a little twist of the story, somewhat like a leap to another make-believe world, the world of Winnie the Pooh and friends;

This is Davao Crocodile Park's entry, it's like Noah's ark on the move, animals are all over. Some of the guys that came and joined the parade sported their albino snakes, yes, may mga ahas sa gabing di kadiliman, lol.

The ginger bread haus on parade, love this entry, it's well lit though not so grand per my eyes judgment, it's all complete with commercially conceptualized essence of Christmas, not so sure what the basis for judging here but should this float win, it'll take home P150,000.00 as the grand prize.

Praying there'll be more entries next year. Bitin, gamay lang entries.

When went to Garden Oases bazaar two weeks ago, I had a chance to stop by The Ritz Hotel, its one of the newest accommodations we have here in Davao City, it's located within the compound of the Garden Oases in Porras St., it's actually our family's favorite swimming place, it's just so near our place, the food is good, the staff courteous and the it's child-friendly - they have this wide well-manicured lawn where kids can ran around adjacent to this hotel ...

I took some photos at the lobby, some sort of a Christmas souvenir shot of their first Christmas in operation, the place is so clean and so neat, love it.

Ritz Hotel at Garden Oases has these to offer;
- Tours and Transfer services | air con rooms | internet ready rooms | function rooms
- Business Center with net access

Because of the advent of technology, our lives have become easier and things have been very convenient for us. All of us are able to access the Internet with our laptops, computers and even with our mobile phones. Like what most mobile phone companies’ tagline say, “Stay on the go” we always want to be updated with the latest happenings of our loved ones, friends and acquaintances. So even while we travel, just synching our phones to the world wide web, we are still connected. Travel has also become easy as purchasing plane tickets, reserving hotel rooms, booking for tours and the like can now be done online. Everything can be done with just one click of the mouse like finding boston eyelids experts for an appointment even if your lounging in your hotel room thousands of miles away, or check for a new software or program like eyelids online.

But somehow, the latest trends, these social networking sites which have dominated the Internet and technology itself, also have placed us or any individual at risk of dangers. Even the constant use of gadgets have also removed or lessened the personal touch to communication. We have also spent most of our times in front of our boob tubes which has caused and have become reasons for some illnesses and sickness among us. Our children are also in jeopardy, learning and browsing through different websites online.

With all these perils surrounding us, there should be regulations to impose, there should be restrictions. We can always check out for internet safety. So even if we are outside the comforts of our homes, we are always at peace.

I actually did not know first what's this place called that's why I called it the sky promenade at Gaisano Mall, but I later confirmed its called 'The Peak', my previous post was about this and I promised to post the photos of the fountains that changes its color, so here;
